I apologize if this has been asked before, I did a quick search and struggled to find previous posts. For the record, not planning to have a kid soon-- just questioning some observations I have made over the years.

Over the years, I have noticed that a lot of men I knew growing up, who had RP traits, end up with sons that are beta af. For example, a coach's son on a team grows up to be super submissive and feminine despite their father being the complete opposite.

Or siblings that have the same parents-- but their personalities traits and values are completely opposite.

I was wondering how much control do you really have over your children's outcome? Are these father's fucking up? Are the not as RP than I percieved?

I might be under the influence of confirmation bias, but this seems to be pretty common from my observations.
