My question is how do I let go of resentment? I gave her everything she could have possibly wanted, I told her things I had never told anybody. In result she tells everybody about what I told her and slept with one of my rivals!

Resentments lead to things like alcohol and drug addictions...don't do it! The pussy is not worth destroying yourself. Play with it if you must but always have an exit strategy.

Want to know why so many men are assholes?

I get that women and men are attracted, somewhat, by different stimuli. Men that are good at talking to women have either always been good at it or they had to learn. There's so much, that isn't spontaneous, about the mating game now. It's not fun at all anymore. It used to be fun, to want to talk to a pretty lady, and get to know her. You're supposed to look for signs she's interested enough for you to approach. Men don't have those tools anymore. We just don't, straight up. The men that could teach those lessons, don't stay around. No, of course not always, but not usually, these days especially.

So you in turn, have literally a few generations of men, being raised essentially, to be what some women tend to realize, what they would have looked for, had they taken all the information into account. Those qualities they instill are spectacular, let's not be mistaken, but completely detrimental, to the child's very well being as a man. Because while those qualities are great, they make that man someone everyone should aspire to be, on paper.

Men are primal creatures at our deepest core. The often destructive, mostly focused ferocity needed to be a man, is one of the most understated, and misunderstood things, on the planet. In order to be worthy, it is of the utmost importance, to be able to tap into that. It's how the "job" gets done.

When there's no proper masculine energy around to convey the "why" of it, men tend to focus on goals that aren't fulfilling. Once attained these "hollow" fixations bring little, to no joy at all. Bearing no fruit, of a man's satisfaction, to no avail, the man thinks to himself, "how do I fix this?". He looks to the next successful man in the closest vicinity. He sees him accomplishing what he is not and attempts to duplicate said results. Unsuccessfully he begins to think there's something wrong with him, maybe he's not good enough.

Now here's where things can and usually do go left so to speak. Not being equipped to understand, that you will not be afforded the right, to fail and just coast through life. Men that do that are unattractive, the reverse is not true. Men have to be in a constant state of doing, bettering yourself at every turn. There is no other way. Not if you ever want to have any kind of relationship with a woman. Not possible, the two are like oil and water.

Even with all the achievements, and advancements, mankind still has these stipulations. It's not fair, and that's the point. There's no need to be upset over it at all. The issue arrives, when those same old standards, are held in the reverse. It's again unfair, we're told, plus mind you should, just accept it and move on. Which is absolutely fine, why isn't in the reverse?

Here's the why. How hypocritical are we going to allow this delusion to endure? When are we going to have a genuine, honest conversation about it, without everyone getting in their feelings? It disheartened me greatly, to come out of a divorce into the dating world. I was literally a broken man, I felt worthless. I understand now, why and how I got here. I wouldn't ask anyone to take on my burdens.

Matter of fact it's one of women's biggest complaints in marriages (making your spouse your counselor). Usually ends in divorce, women are not there for men, the way that is expected of men to be. They tend to lose attraction after that, you end up being roommates. No man wants to be in that situation...ever. I mean men with a normal sex drive. It's a torture like no other, and women know. It's toxic to withhold from your partner, and then have the audacity to wonder why they cheated. Worse yet, you withhold from him, while YOU have sex with other people.(Saw that one the other day, you can't make this shit up🤣).

I say all of that, to say this, you get what you give. If you play games, expect them to be played with you. Actions have consequences, if you don't understand that now, you're doomed. Be honest with yourself, fix your actual shortcomings, see someone to work out the rest. Don't put anyone before you. Value your time, your energy, and love yourself enough, to take care of yourself, and your life for YOU. Don't sleep with just any and everyone. See yourself as valuable so that others understand your time is not free, your respect and your "love", are earned.

Treat women with the respect they earn, the same as you would any man. Her physical attraction, will not merit much, if her attitude is poor. Talking to women is important for you too. They play a vital role in life to avoid them is futile and unhealthy. You feeling uncomfortable, is a manifestation of you feeling less than, you're not. Women have more interactions with the opposite sex, because they are pursued more. These interactions, because women are by nature, more interested in human interaction, leads them to a better understanding, much faster than men.

You are at a disadvantage when you don't have the proper tools and don't interact with women. It's the reason the "incel" (hate that word) community is growing so much. Men with no hope, at all. Crushed demoralized men. Being as no one cares about men's issues, they have no outlets, and just like in school, you go where you're wanted. Echo chamber effect and boom there you go. Again, no proper man tools. Boo hoo, girls don't like me for who I am.😢 No one cares, given the proper tools, he'd know that's not only normal, but part of the process.

All boils back down to having the proper tools, at an early enough age, so men don't turn into assholes. Shit is sad, I've seen the transformation, when boys turn into assholes. If it's my place, I'll tell them that's not the way, but I understand. Just my two.

TLDR Men and women aren't after the same things. No one tells men and expects them to be happy, after wasting years thinking it was one way, when it's almost opposite. Because no one taught them any better.
