I am apparently "gifted" (I'm not I just work really hard) in math and successful in contests. When I meet girls they usually know me before I know them because of it. At first they are curious about me and without exception they ask me how hard do I work for it. I once did a mistake of giving the actual number (minimum of 4 hours a day) and she looked at me almost in disgusts and said "You must have no life, huh?". Now I usually refuse to answer but they always find this weird and than talk to their friends and ask me thirty more times. I'm not an idiot and will not stop working because of this so I don't need encouragement just an answer why do women unlike men who usually respect me because of hard work are repulsed by it?
