I found that hilarious. I've told them "no, no second date" but I'm pretty sure if I did it like this guy did it would end in violence, a rape accusation, something.. I can't imagine any woman letting this one go without creating more drama than a siskel & ebert marathon.

His response to let's do this again should have been either "have a good night name" followed by opening the locks. Then never text her again. Or it should have been "I never knew we're done." and see if he can get lucky.

Unfortunately we live in a society where it's not really worth offending a woman's ego too badly - at least not in private. It's her word vs. yours.

I have been honest sort of like this (really dug into her and her problems more so than this guy) but it was in a public setting and it was 1500 kms away from home so I gave two fucks about my reputation at the time. It was 2 weeks before I was going back home so to hell with the relationship. I knew she's crazy and could get hostile but this way it was all in public and she'd be hard pressed to accuse me of anything serious. Even then, I came across as an asshole just for standing up for myself. So be it.

His first mistake was shelling out a bunch of money for a woman who had done nothing to deserve it. Why wouldn't she want to lock down her own Human ATM in marriage? Why wouldn't she think she could deny him sex as a way of getting him to do just that? He had already shelled out 200 bucks for single mom and got nothing in return.

Second, shelling out money and then expecting sex is a covert contract. It says that he felt she was a prostitute who would fuck him for money.

He got exactly what he deserved. Next time he needs to invite her over for Netflix and Chill and be more upfront about what he wants. If she's not DTF he'll know before hand and won't spend a penny or waste a minute.
