In the sense that pornography is basically like cucking yourself out of having your own sexual experiences and just living vicariously through other's, aren't stories, fiction and non, the same animal?

Rather than me going out and actually dealing with obstacles and overcoming things, finding my own resolutions, I take someone else's fantasy and entertain it inside my head. After I'm finished with the story, I get a slight sense of actually having struggled and accomplished something with the main character similar to the sexual release I would get from jerking it to porn.

What is the role of stories in the RP philosophy?
