A bit of a background story, I've been laughing about an idea for a website with mates and colleagues for a while, and I finally got around to setting it up.

The concept is I guess what I need advice on two main parts;

The site, is basically - Australian (but can be used by other countries) and the concept is it's a men only site to network based on interest or hobby.

Forums, blogs, groups and general social networking type features, however allows you to search for other guys, X number of kilometres away from you, that share similar interests, It's a platonic website (ie, any sexual preference is welcomed, but it's not for dating or finding anything more than friends). Thought this would be a good core feature of the site, so if a guy moved towns, or had no friends that enjoyed a particular hobby, there was a general site to find other guys who enjoy those things.

Would also be used to raise awareness of mens health, and other male orientated subjects

1) Often men only 'things' are frowned upon, which is the whole purpose of the website, Do I risk having the site criticised for not allowing Women ?

2) Is there actually a market for this, or am I wasting my time
