http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_(disambiguation)

Rape is a form of sexual assault. Its original meaning is "to take by force."

It doesn't downplay anything , Rape can be use in a analogy like anything can

You're not wrong, you're just an asshole.

[–]circlhat1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Rape is force, its a analogy that you are force to work for the rest of your life to pay alimony to a women.

Feminist say rape is worst than murder, which is not true at all, because that is like saying its better to kill a women that was rape than to let her live.

Rape is evil, awful, but its not the worst thing in the world, I'm sensitive to the pain and the memories that a victim will carry for life.

I'm surprise you didn't bring up murder, murder is far far worst, and we use terms like, "He killed it", "I murdered it"

The sensitivity to rape is solely due to feminist making it solely a female issue, so Divorce rape is not sexual rape its financial rape and the term is perfectly fine

That's slavery if anything, and I don't think that argument is gonna fly.

Feminist say rape is worst than murder, which is not true at all, because that is like saying its better to kill a women that was rape than to let her live.

Who said anything about killing people? Oh wait, the victims did, because they are 13 times more likely to commit suicide than the general population.

Rape is evil, awful, but its not the worst thing in the world, I'm sensitive to the pain and the memories that a victim will carry for life.

OK, better...

I'm surprise you didn't bring up murder, murder is far far worst, and we use terms like, "He killed it", "I murdered it"

Fuck it I agree with this.

It isn't even a correct analogy. Rape is a violation of a victim's physical agency, which is something you are entitled to as a person. Divorce rape is nullification of a contract that you were dumb enough to put all your money in on. You aren't entitled to shit.

Divorce rape is nullification of a contract that you were dumb enough to put all your money in on. You aren't entitled to shit.

You don't sign a contract with terms when you get married. They don't go up to a guy and outline procedures for the divorce.

The marriage contract is written at the time of a divorce calling a guy dumb for getting divorce rape is like calling a girl dumb for wearing a short skirt.

Its never the victim fault and men are usually the victim and lose everything they worked for. While rape victims have to live with a painful memory , every month a guy(sometimes a girl) loses a huge part of there income. This effects their ability to attract another mate and provide resources to start a family.

Divorce rape is the perfect term, it shows the serious of the issue and how serious we as men take it

Not because it is equally trivial - it is NOT - but it is also not rape.

right. because divorce "rape" is much more worse than standard rape.

there is a reason women get orgasms while being raped - they enjoy it.

i am yet to see a man spraying cum when he signs over half his stuff.

No they don't, Its a awful crime and it is not to be trivialized like that. That's the kind of thing OP is talking about

Rape is all about power, not the sex, right?

Divorce is the same thing, really, thus "divorce-rape.

Five minutes of unwanted sex is NOT worse than decades of alienation from your family, your livelihood and ability to live a decent life, along with everything you ever loved being taken from you.

[–]Therealredpill3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yup, that 5 minutes of brutal violation doesn't scar anyone for life. How bout we fix the courts and be open about the consequences of rape on both genders?

[–]Endorsed ContributorBluepillProfessor0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Of course it scars people for life. So does divorce-rape except it also scars the kids for life. I am saying on balance 1 is worse than the other, not 1 is "good" and 1 is "bad." Obviously both are well within the category of "bad." Except 1 is justified by the full weight of the law while the other is completely ignored and laughed about when it happens to men. If you include prison rapes there are more men being raped than women but we don't care- hah hah, don't bend over to pick up the soap. Try to make a joke about raping women and see how far that gets you.

I'm very concerned with men being raped, which is why "divorce rape" is still a dangerous misnomer. If you're a man in America willing to enter into a marriage you should know the risk of someone leaving with half your shit. No woman snuck up in a dark alley and forced a marriage on anyone.

Who has it worst is irrelevant, pain is subjective and varies from individual, divorce rape is finical rape.

even if its 1 seconds of unwanted sexual contact in my book that is 1 second to much.

We are not in competition with sex rape victims to see who has it worst.

If you were rape, I 'm truly sorry, if you were divorce rape I'm truly sorry
