I work as a fundraiser for an international entity, by swallowing the pill and becoming more assertive over the last two years i gained promotion after promotion, and a rapidly rising paycheck

Unfortunately it has kind of killed my motivation in some ways. I find the act of courting a girl less and less appealing the better I understand them. I am able to dissect what they are thinking a lot more efficiently and girls that I found fun to be around a year ago I find utterly intolerable now.

Additionally it has also killed my motivation to advance my career further. I already make way more money than I need... anymore work on my career would be building beta bucks at the expense of investing that time into building alpha traits/personality.

But while seemingly "bad" both of the above changes are giving a lot more direction and peace of mind than I felt before.
