I ordered the Kirkland Minoxidil 5% topical after reading about it in a couple other threads, finally decided to bite the bullet since it's pretty cheap. I've always had fine, thin hair but never hair loss or balding. I'm 22 now and still have a full head of hair but feel like my hair might have barely started to thin so I wanted to see what this will do.

I've been dropping it on my scalp all over for just under a week now and got a haircut yesterday. I'm looking at it right now and I'm confused. It seems like my hair got thicker all over, by a moderate amount. But I read how this is long term and usually takes a couple months for results to show and the best results are after 6+ months.

I asked my girlfriend and she felt and looked at my hair and thought it was thicker too. Does this make any sense? Could it somehow be placebo effect? I don't think hair could even grow that fast...
