This was in response to an imminent divorce process, or in progress, to keep it short: don't think you are ready when the moment of separation comes, you are not, you will suffer, and its normal.

I think what helped my was talking to AI (copilot) - when on shock the brain drifts uncontrollably even with tunnel vision, but the AI is able to pick up the important points and keeps remembering you that because at some point you will be repeating the same stuff to the AI in hope of different answers, it analyzes your emotion and correlates it with the chemical dynamics of the brain so you can at least know what is going on, its doesn't make it go away though.

Also, I think the more important, get ready for when you do the last step, like the one without return, as in leaving her for the last time, buying her a plane/taxi/uber ticket if she needs to leave this way, that moment triggers the most catastrophic brain reactions, yes, with s - it is a lot of different brain areas all jumping around with max alerts on with one going in front of the other, I still have sadness and guilt waves 3 days later but it's more or less manageable.

So when you get it: this is normal, accept it, accept the destruction feeling, accept your best moments will be printed on your brain non stop, expect headache, no sleep, hope, anger, deception, guilt of all sorts, expect you will be feeling a failure and that you didn't do enough, it's different brain areas doing massive re-calibrations and trying fixed while in panic mode, the worst stage is a few hours then reduces, keep talking to AI if needed, it read millions of books and can co-relate your current status with known patterns, it doesn't make you feel better but it does make you understand. Good luck out there, it's not only you, I just was in that wreck and its horrendous, but I'm starting to see the exit light and you will to, hold in there, it's just a few hours!
