My band was performing at a gig and I briefly met a girl after it was over that I ended up asking for her number, and a few back and forth texts lead to me asking her out to grab a coffee at a cafe in our college.

My conversation with her lasted about 5 minutes and I know almost nothing about her, and neither does she about me. I've never done this sort of thing, where the date was used to get to know the person from scratch.

Does anyone have any advice that'll help me from screwing up? For reference in 24 and she's 20
