Heading to the city where he's living to negotiate a way to get my Stimulus Check from him

Terrified this will take me back down a terribly dark emotional hole

I left him because he was a user, liar, narc, addict... all the things and on top of that an immigrant

He has stolen my money... is "homeless" and strung out on meth... honestly terrified to see what's left of him, but it burns me up knowing he's stealing a benefit that was granted to him off of my hard work (dynamic of our entire relationship)

Any advice

PS plan to have police mediate and chaperone (if he even shows up). Men are pathetic and this is proof. Can't respect someone who loves you and self destructs when alone... oh and that's all my fault of course
