How did you find out about this community, and what drawed you closer to it?

A friend of mine would periodically send me articles while I was married. I dismissed them as entirely too negative and unrelated to my lived experience. Little did I know...

What, according to you, are the core-values of TRP community?

Female nature is a constant and unrelenting presence in all types of relationships involving women with varying degrees of intensity. Most of the core concepts spring from this premise.
Amoral approaches to attraction is paramount. TRP takes what works, not what is moral, right, honorable, or otherwise socially preferred. In a word, pragmatism.
Direct and aggressive instruction, teaching, advice, and communication style. This prevents overly sensitive types from diluting the messages to be gained from TRP. It has the added bonus of "blue-pilled" types and "concern trolls" outing themselves when they complain about the language style, and can be removed from the community.

What connects you to other members of TRP community?

As far as I know, practically nothing. If I had to pick something, it might be the common desire for success, but also that one of the paramount efforts in the collective community is to discover and communicate in good faith toward a greater understanding/truth about attraction.

What is your political stance on the state of men's rights as opposed to women's rights in western society?

Men's rights are second-rate when compared to the privileges women enjoy. I do not believe in denying the rights women enjoy, but I do believe that where men are at a disadvantage, there should be legislation to restore balance/equality.

In what way did TRP change your outlook on life?

It helped me understand how and why women behave they way they do, and not only how, but also why western jurisprudence employs benevolent sexism to benefit society as a whole at the expense of individual men.

Do you think society treats this community in a fair way?

In short, no. But the longer answer is neither society is informed properly about the community, nor is the community designed to be understood by a casual observation by society.

What are some Red Pill fundamentals you are currently working on to improve yourself?

Exercise. As I've aged and become more entrenched in a demanding career, physical fitness has become a struggle. I also look at the asktrp sub frequently and participate in order to remind myself of the core principles and I find answering questions helps organize my own thoughts and reinforce what I've learned over these past few years.

Stumbled upon it 5 years back. Being able to talk with men about guy things without policing each other's speech and thoughts, that I see a lot of society wants from us. I've never been big in following some social script on allowable thought and language. So much of the world is orwellian these days, and the internet early on had a lot of free thinking pioneers that thumbed their noses at these thought police.
Self-Responsibility. The stuff most men want out of life will not and simply cannot be handed to them. From that springs everything else.
I see young men repeating the same mistakes and fed lots of lies. Every day, it's like a new line of canon fodder comes in to ask us if they should rush the machine guns or not.
I believe in equality before the law, but not forced equality of outcomes and the policies enforce such. I also understand that humans protect females just from genetic-instilled bias (a tribe that doesn't protect its females doesn't survive long), which is why patriarchal law previously was formed the way it did.
I had TRP before TRP existed. An RP dad I didn't listen to and just early adult life often as an outsider looking in. A lot of the beliefs from earlier media seeped in my head and molded me. Life is supposed to be fair. If you work hard enough, you will make it. If you are gentlemen enough, you get the girl. Etc. That got stripped away one by one.
No, but again who expects fairness other than MGTOWs? It is what it is.

Hello. Thank you for your interest.

I hope that my response pertains closely enough to one or more of your inquiries to be of use to you.

Nearly two years ago, I had just exited the military. I felt very lost, empty, and was considering death. I felt rejected as well. Rejected by society for certain aspects of myself, things I considered endemic to me as a man, this exacerbated things. Moreover, the situation was made even more perilous because I felt that I was one of the only ones who saw this rejection. Bringing up these feelings to people typically led them to condemn me with some form of pejorative employed with such sacrilegious abundance as to render it meaningless, and only compounded my already massive feelings of despair and isolation, as well as a burgeoning feeling of bitterness. They did not care about me, I could die and they wouldn't even notice, because I am a man, and so my pain is invisible, or a cause for scorn. However, I am expected to care about them.

When I discovered the red pill, it was such a tremendous relief to find others who felt the way I did about certain developments in western society, specifically where I am, in the United States. It was a place where I could find positive reinforcement and encouragement as a man, which until then I hadn't realized was so desperately lacking every where I looked. I do not know if there is a deliberate agenda in operation with the purpose of demoralizing men, or breaking their spirits, but it is certainly difficult not to see it that way. Sometimes men just need "guy time", or to be around other men and just be masculine. It is healthy, and rejuvenating. Western society typically seems to see this as exclusion of some kind though, and appear to be possessed of a systematic drive to dismantle any all-male organizations or groups, depriving men of something they desperately need, the opportunity to bond with other men after a masculine fashion. Masculinity itself is in the cross-hairs now, and taking heavy fire. I worry about the boys of the generation after me. I worry about their mental health.

Here I learned that my initial feelings that no one cared about my pain, that is was a cause for scorn, were in fact correct. I am a man, and so I must be strong, because western society concerns itself with female problems, and if I mention mine I am met with immediate condemnation. This is good though, because it makes me strong. It makes me independent. I re-discovered stoicism and Nietzche, in large part due to The Red Pill, and I feel once more in tune with myself. I no longer consider death. Re-discovering masculinity, and a community of other men who have done the same, helped me re-discover life itself. Accepting this healed me. This Red Pill helped to heal me, and I am grateful for its presence in my life.

Found the community two years ago but wasn't really too interested. After gaining a lot of weight and getting depressed in the first year of university I wanted to improve myself. Started seriously implementing trp ideals about 2 months ago.
Core values imo are to focus completely on your goals and that women are a side effect of that. Also stoicism.
The fact that most people here have been depressed and deprived of sex because of low self esteem. Im currently 6'0 240 pounds so Id be considered obese. Without reading about the progress and improvement the other people went through I would have never stepped into the gym or fixed my diet. I am currently steadily losing weight, my confidence has increased and im not afraid or nervous to speak to strangers. Most people on this sub have achieved even more than this and I am connected and motivated by their progress.
Not really interested in the politics of it.
More comfortable being alone, however social situations dont frighten me anymore. Not afraid to speak my thoughts. Since I was only recently introduced to TRP i believe im in the anger phase when it comes to women.
Dont think society in general knows enough about trp but the reddit community looks down upon it for being mysoginistic whereas its just a self improvement sub that sees through women.
Taking care of myself via lifting and loosing weight, going to all my lectures and doing my work and trying to overcome approach anxiety.
