My relationship ended, I was hurt for awhile, but looked at this turn of events as a lesson, and despite the pain I was feeling, I was weirdly happy (while tears were still in my eyes.) Something changed when it ended, but I wasn't too sure what it was. Then I stumbled across TRP. After reading it, as well as some suggested books, I realized that the only change that was happening was me, and I was damn happy for it.

I lived for me. I cooked myself the good meals that I would only cook if my gf was there. I joined a gym. I busted my balls at my summer job (I have gone all-in on working towards my engineering degree instead of tiptoeing around whether or not it was a good idea or not) and they are going to be training me to take control of my own crew, management, which will lead to me helping run the franchise, which will no longer be just a summer thing, while working around my school. I waste little time in a day.

I'm a leader. On both sports teams I play, and am liked much more by my teammates. My job requires speaking with customers, and listen to them rant about how I should do something. I am direct when it's time for them to leave me the fuck alone so I can do a job, and they sometimes crack a chuckle for a sec, but always respect me and leave me alone to do the work.

Though I started adopting some RP attributes before finding this, it was this group of people that motivated me to change myself for myself. And only myself. I'm happy, I'm strong despite the fact that I am a smaller man, and I am still young with a long ways to go. ( I have taken somewhat of a break from women for a bit to focus on me ) But I am ready to get myself back out there. It will take me out of my comfort zone a bit, but I am excited to embrace the failure. That's all for now, but I promise myself that I will post another update in a few months bragging about the things that I am going to do, and once again thanking you guys for your contribution. Swallow that pill and don't allow yourself to choke on it, learn to love being uncomfortable, because if things are too rhythmic, too comfortable, you arn't getting better. Thanks again.
