I'd like to get feedback from this community on my progress. Please give me your honest critique and let me know how else I can continue to improve. Let me know if you were in a similar situation and what you did.
Basically, I started on my journey of self improvement about six months ago, a few weeks shy of my friend introducing me to the red pill community. I would say that I have always had a heavier beta frame of mind, but there were some aspects of my personality that were more alpha. I believe my desire to self-improve, my drive or competitive nature have always been my alpha qualities. I think if I were more beta in those regards then I would be more accepting of where I was in life.
So far I have improved my yearly income by 230% compared to when first started my professional career. During my fits of depression and low-self image, I gained 130lbs, a total of 350lbs. Since six months ago I have lost 60lbs, with my end goal being 200lbs. I also moved out of my mother's house and got my own apartment. I go to the gym roughly, 3-5x a week. Some weeks it's more, some weeks it's less depending on my level of energy. I still battle not having motivation due to work stress or just plain old laziness.
I know that my true potential will always be a work in progress, but lets say I'm currently at 40% — I could view myself at being around 80% if I were more physically fit.
With so many aspects of my life improving, I still can not find the motivation to work out harder and lose the weight faster. I still don't approach women, or new people in general, because of my poor physical self image.
I know the answer, go to the gym twice a day, burn more calories, and watch what I eat. I have been doing better with my eating. I no longer eat sweets or drink sugary products like coffee or soda. I juice in the morning, eat lean macros like chicken for lunch, and a light dinner like salad and more juice for dinner. There are times that I cheat and have cheese and rice during the day. There are times that I eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and kick myself afterwards. The weight is still slowly coming off but because I'm still so heavy I still have a poor physical self image and struggle with talking to people.
What can I do to improve this? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
