Basically I've been reading for so long that all the successful guys practice it everyday. but to be honest I really have nothing at all to be grateful for. Everything in my life is fucked, I've wasted 6 fucking years, I live in an abusive family in the most awful, heinous corner of earth that among other things has the worst, most idiotic people crammed together in an area the size of a matchbox and reaches temperatures upto 40+ celsius regularly, and so on. How the fuck can I be grateful here?

I've followed the advice of all the books I've read and made a list of things I should be grateful for and been reviewing it every night for the past year and a half. But it's really not helping. Just feels like a pointless chore. And it actually does the opposite of what it's supposed to be doing because it only again reminds me of all the stuff that I don't have and other lucky bastards do because the list is just so goddamn short and pathetic. Not to mention the world outside is falling apart and being taken over by the rabid sjws and their simps and it only gets worse every year. Soon it's gonna be total 1984 shit and anybody with a mind of their own is gonna be fully silenced and there's going to be no hope left for humanity. Hard not to feel morbidly nihilistic when you think about that shit.

It's literally just stuff like at least I have a fully able body and not in a wheelchair or blind or some shit, at least I've been able to watch some good movies and read good books, at least I'm not homeless or in prison, at least I'm still breathing (although most of the time I REALLY wish I wasn't because then at least all my problems would be over) and so on. Do you guys practice gratitude? How do you do it when so many times everything seems so hard and pointless and like the whole world is against us and like we had no chance from the very beginning?
