Well. Duh. The baby boom happened at the end of the second world war. As peace settled, people were optimistic. Corona on the other hand is going to be followed by an economic recession and time of political instability. Not the most ideal time to be tending to a child.

And that's before the arguments against marriage in the current zeitgeist.
