I've been going through this cycle for the past 3 years where I develop a new insecurity that eventually fades and is replaced by a new one. First it was my crooked teeth. I got braces and fixed that. Then it was my physique. Went to the gym and got that fixed. Then it was my crooked nose. I never got that fixed but I grew to not give a fuck eventually. Then it was my dick size. Stopped watching porn and that went away. Now it's my acne. I admittedly do have terrible acne and am in the process of getting it fixed (accutane). I've also been told by many people that my head is way too big for my body, which has no fix besides making my body bigger (lifting). As my acne is starting to fade, I can sense this becoming my new insecurity. These insecurities are affecting my ability to talk to people and my frame with women. I want to have them all fixed before I put myself out there. For example, I have a HB8 plate who I keep flaking on since I don't want her to see me while I still have acne (didn't have acne when I met her).

Is this normal to develop insecurities and then "overcome" them? I want to feel comfortable with myself and feel like I am "enough" despite these noticeable flaws. How do I get into this mindset?
