Any point trying to maintain a platonic friendship with someone you used to sleep with for pragmatic reasons if nothing else?

Further context: She's in a relationship now but I think she has decent taste in things and could provide a good female opinion on things I could actually consider and use. I also think she's got a solid network of friends and acquaintances where some of them are hot girls and that I can be introduced to them? I'm not gonna fight her off if she wants some but I don't really care if we don't sleep together again.

Any advice? Part of me thinks there might only be pointless politically correct or possibly manipulative opinions and advice or setups for failure with people she knows.
