Back when I was a bitch, a girl would show interest in me and would start texting me and instead of transitioning from phone to real life it would turn to us talking all day everyday until she eventually gave me the “let’s just be friends speech”

Well this chick I knew in high school, started showing interest in me recently and started texting me, we talked for a few days straight and I asked her out and we met for dinner Thursday night, everything went good. And immediately after she hits me up,

We talk and flirt until lunch time the next day (Friday). We talked about seeing each other again Tuesday and rock climbing, she said it sounds fun and wants to do it, and said Monday she will let me know what time she’s going to her rock climbing gym that day, so I can meet her.

Well we keep talking and about 15 minutes later it gets really busy at work and I say “it’s been nice talking, let me know when you figure out about rock climbing, it’s getting busy at work, I gotta run, Keep in touch”

She read it and didn’t respond.

She always texts me first, so should I wait till Monday to see if I hear from her? Or try to start a convo Tomorrow? I feel like I came off as a cold dick. But I’m legitimately very busy. I part of me doesn’t want to hit her up before Monday because I don’t want to change the dynamic of her always hitting me up?

I also try to use the phone to set up hang outs because insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome, I really like this chick, but I try to keep the texting to a minimum.
