Red pill is a toolbox. For best results for average person start out by being you and be beta and once they like you and are comfortable with you, be alpha. Pretty much lead them on. During beta phase be funny and initiate keno. Once you notice positive feedback, initiate red pill. They will start to seek validation from you.
