Taking the example of my family I definitely know that my father is purely serving a beta bucks role for my mother and her hypergamy is exploiting him for her provisioning and security needs. Considering that my father is my biological father and not a cuckold, then I am carrying his genes. And definitely I am carrying my mother's genes as well. So this beta biological father of mine was somehow able to pass on his genes through using the provisioning strategy. From the perspective of my mother she passed on her genes through this beta provider. In other words she selected a beta. Did hypergamy fail here? (open hypergamy vs. restrictive hypergamy) Lets assume this woman was forced by controlling her hypergamy to conceive a child of this beta male. If this child born is a male he carries genes from this woman whose hypergamy was restrained. What can be said about this child. Is he a beta or an alpha. The beta father forced the woman through restrictive society controlling hypergamy to conceive his child. This conception was against her hypergamy but none the less it carries her side of genes as well. Assuming this in case of me as an offspring how is my mother supposed to deal with me. I am her son and her genetic contribution is involved in it but another genetic contribution involved is from my beta father. If i am her only son then I am the only carrier of her genetic material. Would she not want her genetic material to be passed on through me, so why would she raise me to be a beta? Or Another question is that can I inherit genetic alpha from my mother as well. How does a man know that the woman he is reproducing with is carrying alpha gene or beta gene. My only perception of thinking a woman as a reproductive option is her physical sexual appeal. But if this physically sexually appealing female gives birth to my son who turns to be a beta, how would I have known. I there a parameter to ascertain that the woman I mate with is alpha and the son reproduced will be alpha.
