At my college, this one girl (HB8) has been dating an acquaintance of mine for about 1.5 years. The dudes okay but we have no mutual friends, smile at each other in the hallways and maybe chat once a month for a few minutes. I was always pretty dismissive to his girl since I knew she was into me, and I have 0 desire for infidelity drama (this probably made her like me more since she always saw me with different girls frequently).

She broke up with him, and has been displaying clear interest in me. They only broke up a week ago, and were together for 1.5 years. I'm obviously the rebound, and have 0 desire to be in an actual relationship with her. He was very beta around her and I'm pretty sure that was his first girl.

Anyone have experience here? Is plating these girls volatile and just a smash n dash situation? Him and I are barely friends so I doubt shes doing this to get back at him.
