Is it possible to increase your status in an already established group of friends/acquaintances?
Ever since swallowing the redpill, I've changed a lot for the better. My frame is better and I've been using amused mastery like no tomorrow. I stopped taking shit so seriously. I'm happier then ever.
I cut contact with so many people from my highschool days. Those were my pathetic years of being a hardcore pussy loser. I cut off contact because they made me feel bad about myself. But today, nobody can do that to me. My self-confidence is so much higher. Fuck if I had this mentality back then, I'm sure there are friendships that would've survived. Is it worth trying to reconnect with people from your past, that saw you as a loser? Is there a specific level of SMV you need before doing this?
I have college friends I rarely see, friends I see regularly, and friends I haven't talked to since highschool. From what I've read here, people seem adamant on not bothering trying to change people's perception of you. You will always be remembered for being x,y or z. That shit never changes.
In a way, I can understand. There are people I know that I have a general perception about, even though they changed from years ago. There are things you never forget that happen.
For me, I've had 2 embarrassing incidents happen. One of them was a drunk experience that I'll never live down. I feel that the girls that know of this experience will NEVER want to associate themselves with me. They will always remember me from that moment.
So, to summarize, can you change the relationship dynamics if you've improved yourself to a certain degree?
