I'm on the phase of lifting for myself^TM - not out of anger or to just lay pipe everyday. However, the fuel (eating) seems so complicated! Honestly, I can eat really plainly and I'm under the impression I mainly need track just Proteins, Carbs, and Fats for macros, but I still feel very confused.

Also, I don't know how to take into account the fact that I like to dance occasionally and I walk / take the bus everywhere (vs. driving a car - on average about 7k steps of walking alone). Would eating eggs & oatmeal for breakfast, chicken / fish + veggies + brown rice for lunch and a salmon or steak and sweet potatoes for dinner be enough?

Does anyone have suggestions on diets, recipes, chefs? Cheap, simple, fast and efficient is what I'd prefer - don't care much about great taste or aesthetics, I'm a bit apathetic to it all now and when I am feeling a need for novelty I can get a little thing or have lunch with coworkers.
