Hey there,

Former blue-piller here, taking the red pill day by day, and would like some feedback to see if I'm understanding things correctly.

At an abstract level, the red pill is about waking people up to the reality of all dimensions of fitness. AFAIK, in biology, fitness is the term used to attempt to quantify how successful an organism is likely to be, measured in offspring. Everything about the animal goes into determining it's fitness. Size, speed, aggressiveness, place in the hierarchy etc.

In a similar way, humans also have fitness, all of which go towards increasing your SMV, and personal satisfaction in life. In animals, the most 'fit' animals will be the ones to biologically 'succeed', while in humans, the most 'fit' humans will be the ones to succeed, with the difference being that we the we can think about fitness and success in multiple dimensions/categories; Physical, Social/Emotional, Mental, Financial, and Spiritual

Physical fitness is pretty straightforward, and the most primal. How in shape are you? From evolutionary psychology, we theorize that the bigger/stronger a male is, it taps into older paradigms of male/female relations, triggering submissiveness and responsiveness, which is why lifting is so heavily emphasized, and we can measure that in height, body fat %, how much you can bench, squat, curl etc.

We can also think about mental fitness, how good you are at seeing the positives in a tough situation, how good you are at solving problems, thinking in abstract terms, memorizing, and more skills that I'm still waiting to discover/understand. We have a couple metrics to go by here, with IQ being the most common, but AFAIK, most people don't like using IQ because it seems static, while we're more focused on growth, which is acquiring and practicing skills. More research is needed here for me, trying to understand the skills and practices to improve mental fitness, and how that would tie into a sexual strategy. One thought would be frame, and self-belief/confidence. The field of performance psychology/positive psychology also springs to mind.

We can also think about social/emotional fitness, which is where I feel a lot of TRP deals with. Its about how comfortable you are in social situations, how well do you understand and are able to control social dynamics, male vs female sexual strategy (hypergamy, AWALT), PowerTalk, everything. It's difficult to measure social fitness, but I found this website, www.skillsyouneed.com which offers a survey you can take. For reference, I got 44%, obviously below average, otherwise I wouldn't be here lol. Emotional fitness can also refer to how well you are able to empathize, negotiate, talk in a group, relate to others emotions, and build rapport, all of which can be further broken up into individual skills which, like all skills, may be practiced, and improved. A more socially fit individual, the guy who is magnetic, warm, friendly, dresses well, connects with people well, knows how to handle shit tests, is going to have a much higher SMV than the schlub who crawled out of his basement, and is awkward and uncomfortable around people. Higher social fitness = higher SMV = greater possibility of getting laid = greater chance of babies (which is what vasectomies/condoms are for)

Another category of fitness is financial fitness. I think you get the gist by now, so I'll move quick. The more fit you are, the more control over your money you have, the more you understand the financial system, how to budget, how to save, how to start an emergency savings fund, generate passive income, etc. Etc. We can measure financial fitness in a couple of different ways, net worth, monthly income, assets vs liabilities. Again, I need to do more research here, particularly on how to spot investment opportunities, though I'm sure there are skills I will need to learn that I don't even know about right now. The wealthier you are, the higher your SMV, to the point that even a dumpy looking dude with a 7 figure bank account will still be able to get attention from bitches.

The last one is spiritual fitness, which in all honestly, I don't have much to say about. Spirituality is obviously a fairly private matter, but most people credit their spiritual practices with providing ethical insights, purpose, mindful awareness of the world, and can be practiced through meditation, reading philosophy, scriptures, etc. I'm least sure how this would contribute to increasing SMV, though I would hazard a guess that a man with a vision/purpose would more easily be able to access abundance mentality/outcome independence, which are integral to constructing a rock solid frame.

What I like about thinking about the red pill in this way is that it (for me at least) clarifies how to take actionable steps to increase my SMV through acquiring and improving specific skills. It's about recognizing and honouring the system nature set up, and how to more closely align myself with the natural truths of the world. If I'm a 5/10, I may be a 6/10 on looks, a 4/10 on social/emotional, a 7/10 on mental fitness, and a 3/10 on financial fitness, I can work to improve in those categories.

And, it takes some of the pressure off myself when I consider that, in video game/RPG terms, I'm like a level 1 red piller. I need to grind to level up, hitting the gym, talking to strangers, focusing on my career, working to develop positivity skills, and mindsets. And when I see someone else who is killing it, a level 50 red pill archmage/Demi-God like some of the red pill vanguard, I don't need to beat myself up, or even really compare myself to them, because they've been playing the game, hustling, and grinding longer than I have. And I can get there too, because the system set up by nature is universal (with small adjustments in strategy from culture to culture).

Thoughts, criticisms, and other perspectives welcome.
