Every so often I see something on a social media sites that hammers home trp truths. This time it's an article on how women keep getting lied to. But when I read the article in question I immediately noticed two things:

  1. Yes, women are lied to: and, women lie to women about 60% as often as men lie to women.
  2. There's something about men that makes people want to open up to them. From the fine article:

    In several instances, buyer’s agents revealed their client’s true intentions to men saying, “I’m not supposed to tell you this, but … ” This sort of privileged information was never offered to women.

It's pretty clear, women are considered incapable of keeping secrets or of being trusted to not misuse confidential information. Gee, I wonder why?
