Back in my military days, I made multiple mistakes. One of them was dating a fellow military girl.

It seems like another universe ago. It was my last traditional relationship , and I screwed up like most men in them do. This time it was wasting hours listening to her prattle about the social affairs of her coworkers.

That evening the girlfriend mentioned a case regarding her friend, also active duty in her unit. Said friend married some unfortunate soul who joined the Navy; she intentionally banged every dude in sight before taking leave to see the new husband graduate Navy basic training. It took massive discipline for me to avoid running out of my girlfriends enlisted quarters screaming WTF over and over like some demented Stephen King character.

Knowing that women never tell the whole horrible truth on the first pass, I kill my beer and ask her to elaborate further during my trip to the fridge for a refill. She obliges- the plan was for her friend to get knocked up by local Chads before arriving at the graduation , or by the husband afterwards. Either way the pal would get an early release from her military term via pregnancy, veteran status thus increased benefits, and a hardworking Navy husband.

I fucked up a lot of things in that relationship ,but holding what I'd later learn is called a non-judgemental frame probably saved my ass a lifetime of pain .My ex never held back about the dirty sexual laundry of the base, and in so doing I gained an absurdly detailed account from the horses mouth about how fucked the whole game was.

You may ask why I dated her despite all this knowldege. It was because I knew she could sic the military Sexual Assault committee on my ass in revenge , and I had career plans to become a flight officer.Guys with sexual harassment/ misconduct in their jackets don't get OTS flight slots .

Two days after that piece of gossip dropped, my ex asked me in plain language to knock her up if her deployment window came due. The fact that someone could order the creation of another human being like it was a fucking pizza to dodge her own, volunteer request to take the oath to serve and protect the US Constitution hit me like a brick in the face. Worse, my dumb ass was the one banging her.

I tried to lecture her about the responsibilities of military service. You can guess how productive that was-I may as well have talked to the door frame. She responded by begging me to knock her up, again.

This forced me to learn a crash course in Redpill Game, although I didn't know it. Couldn't just leave her -because sexual harassment revenge complaint followed swiftly by the corpse of my career hitting the deck. She told me enough stories of that happening among her social group on post to know straight dropping her wasnt an option.

I quit sleeping with her to reduce DNA evidence of sexual contact, then took three weeks leave before dumping her via text on the flight out. I figured if Uncle Sam was gonna toss me in the brig for standing up to a female, hed have to wait half a month before getting his pound of flesh.

Fortunately , for whatever reasons only she knows that never happened. I'll never forget coming back to base from the airport fully expecting to be hauled out of the limo and cuffed at the gate, and deciding after getting through gate security I'd never hand a woman this much power over my life again. Ever.

That was five years ago,and ive been on the plate system ever since.

Her friends strategy? Worked like a charm. The poor sailor is raising two kids, and my ex's friend is a happy ex-mil mom according to Facebook.

Stories like that make me feel like I'm in some weird X-Files episode, except the aliens already conquered Earth and took over society before I was born.
