For context I'm still young (17) in high school.
So recently I went on a first date with a really shy chic, we had technically gone on one before, but time elapsed afterwards and I nexted until she reinitiated, so I can assume she is pretty interested.
I escalated perfectly on the date, increasing physical contact until she was practically laying on me. At the end of the date I walked her to the train stop and just before the train came I said, fuck it, and kissed her. She seemed receptive but the actual kissing was awkward and awful. She started apologising and told me that I made her very nervous and that she had never made out with a guy before. Honestly to me this was not a big deal and I tried to state that fact but she seemed to think I was lying. We hugged and she left.
I text her later on stating the great time I had and she texts back "did you really, though?". She seemed to be upset.
Now I can see where I fucked up. I kissed way to late, without an opportunity afterwards to work things out.
The problem is that I see her in school a few days later and all of a sudden its awkward. Usually I'm quick with witty remarks and so forth but today I felt pathetic and forced. She seemed happy to see me but you could feel the elephant in the room. I ask her if we are all good, and she replys yes. I leave and for the past couple of days I've avoided her as im unsure how to move forth.
Honestly I'm perplexed. What do?
