I read a rather interesting article Nearly half of young people don't think they are exclusively heterosexual

This got me thinking back to a theory I thought of long ago. That Male homosexuality is fundamentally different to Female Homosexuality both psychologically and in terms of neuroscience (how the brain is hardwired)

I put forward this hypothesis. Male Homosexuals are born the way they are the same as Male Heterosexuals are in a sense that your brain is hard wired as such. When did I choose to be straight? Never always have been. When did you choose to be straight? same answer I would guess. Gay men also when did they choose? Never! For them the only difference is realising they are Homosexual.

But when it comes to female Holosexuality it seems rather murky and inconsistent. From my own observation I have found that if any two girls specially the younger get on really well and click they can form a very close bond and more or 'love' eachother but its not in a primal sexual way its more superficial but they may interpret it as such, Hence believing they are bisexual or lesbian. You also see these days several female celebrities mostly early 20s late teens randomly coming out saying they are lesbian or bisexual and it seems to be a rather spontaneous impulsive publicity stunt or a way to get attention. I know several girls myself that claim to be Bisexual or Lesbian and I know its total BS, it seems more a fad or mood they go in and out of when it suits them.

Homosexual boys, when they hit puberty realise they are not attracted to girls like their friends are, how they deal with this may vary from individual. But I have never ever read or heard about a pre teenage girl having gone through the same motions.

It makes me wonder does female homosexuality even exist?
