Be VERY careful setting up IRL meetups here. There are some very nasty people that do not like this sub, or its members. They'd like nothing better than to get some personal info to use against us.

Be very careful. This is why this kind of thing just don't happen here, though it gets brought up from time to time. Just too risky.

I suggest looking up the many, many other threads suggesting the same thing, and the consensus reached about the idea.

It's a fun idea, no doubt, but don't underestimate the irrational hatred and self-righteous vindictiveness of some of the crazies that are against the ideas of this sub.

You shouldn't use the subreddit to build your network.

Not that you couldn't make good friends or allies in here but it opens the flood gates to imposters using it to isolated this unpopular believe system to arrange lynches and other social problems.

You are better off changing and building your network away from here.

In this site we are all constructs of ideas but not really people. Once we become people your advice is no longer from an objective viewpoint. This will cloud and incest ideas as well.
