Need advice on what I should do with a plate..

Things were going well and I was making progress but.. Past 2 weeks (including this weekend) she's been in and out of town for work. I haven't seen her since before she left, so should I soft next? Or just leave it be and try to reestablish afterwards?

(Side note: Shot myself in the foot just now cause I tried to RP for this weekend and forgot she had told me she would be out of town)
