Say you are going to a social event and there will be some 'high value' friends there (rich guys, popular, fucks lots of girls - somebody you want to keep being close friends with)

do you text them before the event saying

hey you going to xxx tonight? I've thought it puts you on their mind, they notice / feel more rapport as they are thinking about YOU before the event as opposed to others who only enter their attention when they arrive at the event

on the other hand it could come across as "clingy"

(im already hitting the event with other friends)

so should i send this little text?
