So we both like the same music and going to gigs, and I asked her out to get a few drinks tonight (asked her out a few days ago). and we were chatting yesterday, I say I'll pick her up, shes down, then I ask for her address and she doesn't reply. Currently I'm thinking I shouldn't message her, and if she messages me tomorrow or in the next few days I'll act like I forgot we even had a date "oh shit I was out watching a friends band" something along those lines. I'm not sure what to do if she just never messages me back at all

help much appreciated guys. Also if youre going to say "ditch her bro forget about her" then please bear in mind I've got alot in common with this girl so I'd rather not cut her out all together, as not many girls are into the same sort of stuff as me.

edit: forgot to say that this girl seems to be into me, lots of smileys and x's on the end of texts, says stuff like "I love your blue eyes!"
