I was at a bus stop and there was this girl in a nice dress with amazing ass and everything so naturally I noticed it then she turned towards me and then I changed my body direction not facing her so that not to intimidate her and didn't want to show interest too much as this was spontenous and not planned. But she was checking me out looking my way being curious etc.

Then we went in bus and first I sat pretty much right in front of her but then changed my mind and I sat on the next row still facing her (there were 2-3 rows of chairs so it wasnt like I was a weirdo sitting straight in front of her). And then during the trip I was looking at her and smiling directly in her eyes, she didn't look at me directly in the eyes except once or twice and then averted her gaze but then I'd catch her looking at me. What I did was, I had my hat in my next seat so I looked at her removed it from the seat and looked at the seat indirectly telling her to sit next to me. She did not. She changed her body language a bit towards me. But never smiled. Never brushed hair. Never the usual signs of attraction.

Was she into me, or was she not and what's best way to proceed in situations like these?

Also my eye contact I can maintain but seeing her be a coward by not maintaining was a bit cooling to me so I then I turned slightly away from her.
