I'm newly unplugging and still absorbing tons of material. My story is as boring as the next guy's, but just for context, I've been on a beta slide for a while and so some of the reading material is an act of remembering as much as learning. Which brings me to the point of this post.

A lot of the RP advice with respect to the way men should act in a LTR are things that most of us basically KNOW and would do instinctively except that we've been emasculated and mind-fucked into thinking these behaviors are somehow wrong or anti-social. This comes up again and again reading the sidebar material. STFU, fogging, not deering, seducing your SO, instilling dread by demonstrating SMV, working on yourself first, not allowing your SO to see you angry or depressed, etc. These are things we know already and have been trained to forget.

In a way, the blue-pill is the learned behavior. It's something no man in his right hormonal balance would prefer. Long drawn-out discussions about our innermost feelings? Bleh. A safe, sleepy life of comfort and certainty? Nope.

Exciting journey to be on. Like everyone else here, I'm happy to have found this group. Okay, back to work.
