Hey everyone,

I'm 16 and have started to swallow the pill a few months ago.

Being in the UK, we have the Royal Air Force Cadets where 14-17 year olds can perform skills such as camping, drills and shooting guns.

However, I've never actually grown up with a father figure, my dad is a complete sociopath and my mom is an unemployed overprotective mother.

So overprotective, that when I asked to join, she said that she'll have to drop me off the nearest local army base...which is 14 minutes away. Why? Because the cadets meet up twice a week 7pm to 9pm, her excuse is that it'll be too dark.

Also, fitness and health has never been a priority in the house, I'm lucky to be 174cm at the age of 16 considering both my parents are midgets and I had bad nutrients growing up. My weight however is currently at 48kg and I can do push up reps up to 140 before running out of breath.

I'm looking to join them in September, when I leave Secondary School and start Sixth Form (alternative to college here in the UK), what should I do? Should I accept the offer anyway and have my mother come drop me off?

In the meanwhile, what military style workouts can I do without requiring equipments except dumbbells?

Thanks.
