Just curious, really.

Being someone's plate sounds like the female version of being a beta. It shows low self-esteem and a willingness to sleep with a man in exchange for nothing emotionally satisfying. If she's simply into casual sex, and is a 'plate' of other men too, then it sounds fine. But otherwise, wouldn't you question her evaluation of her own self-worth?

The latter seems like a better option (if she remained consistent throughout her life). However, I acknowledge that I may be projecting.

Regardless, does anyone have any successful LTRs with a previous plate? How long have you been together?
