I'm meeting this girl in my college with whom I started talking to through Instagram. We been talking for 2 weeks now. Since we live in the same campus we most of the time go for breakfast and dinner together & chill for a while. She's kinda touchy and I respond to it too in a very subtle way. She said yes for going out for lunch/dinner with me

Today she called me up saying she wanted to talk to me about something serious. She wanted to know if I like her or not to which I said that we've been talking for only a week which is too early to get to know her. I did say that I find her cute and an interesting person to talk too.

Here comes the confusing part. She hangs out with a guy who is very close to her. This guy had proposed her somewhere around November and she said no to him (she told me this whole story). I got to know from a classmate of his that this girl shows this guy our chats on Instagram and tell him everything we talk about.

I'm kinda confused to whether ignore this or how do I go about it.

tl;dr : started meeting a girl in college through Instagram. She tells everything to a guy who is a close friend of her's who proposed her 3 months back and she said no. Am I overthinking
