I was going to write a huge wall of text but i'll just keep it short.

I grew up in a chaotic household with a mother that left me with an alcoholic father at age 17, due to the circumstances at that point i had to pull his weight and try to keep our shit together - all while the rest of my family had pretty much abandoned us.

I had some serious issues with social anxiety and all that goes along with being a confused teenager, probably caused by my messed up upbringing.

A couple of years go by and my old man finds another woman, she hated me and was incredibly controlling of my dad who took care of her every need.

Some time later i encounter some serious health issues, i could no longer handle the stress & anxiety so my body caved in.

I laid in bed for a week with severe stomach cramps and no one wanted to take me to the hospital.

I had plenty of time to think, i decided that the girl i had fallen madly in love with (orbited) can kiss my ass, and my friends who usually treated me bad - also could go to hell.

From then on i started cutting contact with people to the left and right, my social anxiety just vanished - Simply because i completely stopped caring about social consequences.

This i noticed, had a very positive effect on the ladies and helped me gain respect from my surroundings because i took charge of things.

  • All these changes, the display of confidence and the willingness to take control of situations had a very positive effect on workplaces, friendships, dates & relationships.

im glad to hear you made it out of that slump, i'm sure it was really tough for you. I definitely agree that feeling in control of your life and not worrying about what others think of you increases your confidence a lot.

Thanks man. :) Yeah you're right it does - but it cannot be applied in all situations, i live in a capital city. But this could have some very bad long-term social consequences if you live in a smaller community.

Was handsome to begin with, but shy around women I was interested in. Went to university. Two girls were interested in me. One of them got me. We fucked like bunnies for 1.5 years. I acquired social proof.

My first girlfriend did all the work making me confident. That's probably not going to do you any good, as wait around for a girl to put the work into you isn't very useful advice.

haha it helps to be handsome, but getting all that experience is definitely a game changer for your confidence and attitude towards women.

Emotionally, I followed the 5 stages of TRP to the letter. Anger came in huge waves but left pretty quickly though.

As for increasing confidence with women: Practice.
