There's definitely a power imbalance. But that is unlikely to change as long as politicians are riding the "there's a war on women!" wave.
But the fact that men are opting out of marriage has been raising eyebrows in the mainstream media, shows not all hope is lost.

MGTOW often gets hammered here on Red Pill, but it's a serious nightmare for Feminism.
The moment men give up wanting marriage the whole thing collapses.

The Bible is Red Pill and explains the nature of women beginning in Genesis Chapter 3- the old serpent and apple trick was the first shit test. Think about it- the original sin of man was to fail a shit test and that caused all the problems in the world. Couldn't be more clear than that.

There was a story about Lilith that was common in Babylon but got erased from the bible. Lilith was the original Feminist and refused to take a missionary position in sex with Adam because she wanted "equality".
That was the first divorce.
Eve was built as the "improved woman" who was still flawed but less badly than Lilith.
Lilith is very popular in Feminist circles and there is a website devoted to it. (jewish of course)

From 1600-1850 you lived in the wisdom of The Enlightenment... life was good.
Many philosophers in the Enlightenment promoted more rights for women, although they did not want full equality.
Then in the 1850's a new movement called Romanticism was introduced by the early progressives. Romanticism flipped the image of women from being dangerous (like the bible warns) to instead being "angelic". She was now needing protection because she is no longer the criminal, but the victim.
That was more of a side effect, rather than the intention.
The other ones, though, were spot on.
