Call me vile. 37 . Longtime listener, first time caller.

Lately I have been encountering a type of female in the wild, the not-so-serious type. This species of female at first may come across like the really easy to talk to, sometimes loud, cute short chick. You know the kind, fun at parties, the kind who might get a little too drunk and wind up making out with but cool enough not to get emotional type.

Well, here is a problem that has developed that I can't seem to adjust to: this same friend, because of her non serious pov has no emotional investment in anything, no stake in the claim, which means she cares about nothing or is about nothing.

Which, normally wouldn't be a factor but lately when I draw a line in the sand, setting boundaries on subject matter that I make off limits from being joked about ask that it be taken seriously, the request is ignored.

How can I make clear that as open as I may be to laughing at myself or not taking everything so serious, there are some things that shouldn't be mocked and for some people that isn't a game?

In the end there may be nothing that can be done here but I'm finding a lot of females that don't seem to respect the amount of work or dedication it takes to achieve certain goals but they want to bask in and enjoy the fruit of the labor and be a general hole in my bucket.
