Basically this happened a year ago at school. This girl I was interested and I were placed into the same group. Due to the lack of chairs, I ended up sitting in a chair and she had to kneel. I asked her "Do you want to have a seat". She said "no". So I just left it at that, I didn't feel the need to get out of my chair and tell her to sit down. Should I have done something more? I know this is such a minor thing but it can translate to a much bigger situation. When can being nice be seen as being needy?
