Not being satisfied with the already sorry state of men in this age, they have taken up arms against every single shred of masculinity that has somehow survived through the years.

I think this article perfectly demonstrates the delusions progressives have convinced themselves of : notably, the notion that the success of "alpha males" is a direct result of masculinity or "traditional masculinity", rather than the result of society's return to its primitive state because of feminists eroding the traditional family and its social implications.

Let me explain:

In a primitive society, women would choose the fittest male (the alpha) to breed with, and ignore the weaker ones (the betas). Conversely, men would then have to try and be the strongest and most attractive so that they could even have a chance to reproduce. This kind of society would naturally see hypergamy, harems, the 80/20 principle, alpha-beta males, and other TRP principles/phenomenons emerge. Notable examples : the stone age, modern society, etc.

In a civilized society, men craft elaborate institutions which effectively inhibited these phenomenons from emerging. In a society where every productive man is ensured a submissive wife, who cannot whore around and divorce him, and where men can only have one wife for whom they must provide and take care of, the principle on which TRP functions are significantly muted. Not only that, but the society is bound to be more civilized, productive, and strong because even beta men have a great incentive to work for the good of society at large. Notable examples : Christianity, Judaism, traditional Indian societies, Islam, pretty much every successful patriarchal society ever, etc.

Thanks to feminism and Marxism completely obliterating these societal restrictions on our natures, women and men have collectively returned to a primitive state. Some argue that society is too far gone on the path to decline so TRP is there to help men become the alphas women want to mate with so that men can have a chance to have sex.

Back to the article at hand, De Boer thinks, like many of his fellow leftists, that the struggle to prove one's masculinity will disappear if feminist values are promoted even more and "traditional masculinity" is destroyed. He is so fucking wrong he probably doesn't even realize his Marxist pipe dream is impossible. You see, feminism removes ANY restriction on women's behavior, it "liberates" them. Liberates women to have sex with whomever they want, whenever they want, allowing to only take into account their sexual arousal when choosing a mate without even considering any kind of long-term strategy. De Boer seems to think that men are the ones that who provide the biggest impetus for masculinity, when it is women. Women are attracted to gender differences, they WANT a masculine man. Encouraging men to stop being masculine today is more of a shit-test than anything, a way to weed out the weak-minded from the ones that are truly aware of what women want.

Disregarding the fact that Elliot Rodger was a deeply deranged individual with obvious mental health issues, him and the legions of men who have very little sex today would probably have been better off in a traditional society, where their father would be expected to teach them not to be a whiny bitch and reveal the truth to them, instead of feeding them Disney fantasies. Many "incels" today would probably be balanced individuals with families and children had they been born under different circumstances.

This paragraph of his I find deeply insulting. Men aren't born, they are forged, through a strong masculine presence (a father, not a dad), through tight-knit male groups, through trials and hardship, all of this ending with a coming-of-age ritual. None of this exists enough in our modern society, which is why men are so fucked and HAVE to look for advice on how to be men on the internet. Fathers and strong male role models have disappeared from our societies, and you have the nerve to shame men for trying to reconnect with their masculinity which has been robbed from them, something which is even more needed today than it was some time ago? despicable

Masculinity today is necessary for any man who desires to have a satisfying sex life. I would gladly trade our society in which I can have sex with as many women as I can if I prove to them that I'm worthy of their vagina with a society where I can be more vulnerable, where I have the right to only one wife who I know will be loyal and loving, provided I provide for her and our children. But that's as impossible today as expecting women to be attracted to weak men, so the only option we have left is to enjoy the decline.
