Alright guys, here's the deal. My ex girlfriend broke up with me about a month and a half ago and we've been no contact. Tonight she texted me. I do want her back honestly, we're both young (Me 21, her 19) and she just has a double case of immaturity and not knowing what she wants. I made the mistake of becoming beta towards the end of the relationship, and, if we do reconcile, I don't plan to let that happen again. The conversation is as follows:

Her: Hi. Me: Hi Her: I've been thinking.. I just wanted to say I'm sorry for getting so upset when you talked to my Dad. I was upset but I should have handled it differently. Me: It's okay. I appreciate it. Her: It wasn't my intent to ignore you, but I convinced myself you did it for revenge and realized once I calmed down that wasn't the case. Me: We all make mistakes Her: Yeah. How are you? Me: I'm great, yourself? Her: I'm good Me: I'm glad, good to hear you're well! Her: yeah same to you :). Do you maybe want to talk a bit? Me: actually I'm with a buddy and pretty focused on this workout were doing. Maybe another time? Her: Sure, that's fine. Just let me know okay?

So, did I handle this right? Where should I go from here? I feel like I did but some outside advice is always good.
