Despite all of the times I hear women saying they really want sex, they enjoy it and they don't care about the social power I find that even when dishing out casual sex they are basically just bartering it for attention.

A man will have sex for the sake of having sex, we don't care about the social value of it, we don't want them to 'make us feel attractive' we don't necessarily want a relationship that comes with it (although we have often taking action to build a relationship not just a casual sexual encounter) but I'm not convinced that women are able to have sex for sex's sake.
