It could be a subversive movement aimed at getting the d-bag pua wannabes out of the game.
Like when routines were big, but then so many people were doing them, they stopped working. Girls would hear them 10 times a night.
Get these guys to go all chivalrous and you can start recycling all the old Game tactics. Whatever approach you want to use, it's useful when all the girls are hard up because all those guys turned into white knights that can't close, or even get close.

I think the difference between seduction and TRP as topics is that TRP talks about something specific. Anyone can claim how to do "seduction", and sure enough white knights flood the subreddit and claim that their way is the right way to seduce. There's no ambiguity here; TRP is a distinct philosophy that cannot be misinterpreted.

There was a thread about approach anxiety and most of the advice that went to the top spoke about inner game.
I'm sorry, but no amount of inner game beats desensitization through actually approaching. Yes, it sucks at first, but your brain adapts to what you make it do. So do it!
My guess is that such people after mastering their supposed inner game, end up hitting approach anxiety immediately, lol

They went from beta to "How To Get Women" without reconsidering their values about women.
They know the social rules to get them in bed are different than their blue pill upbringings taught them, but they haven't broken it down to first principles when it comes to what makes someone a good human being. Women still get the pussy pass.
This is probably why so many PUAs get married and cheated on, get stuck with kids they didn't want, get stuck in LTRs where the girlfriend doesn't "let" them approach any more, etc.

Bah. The first pickup material I stumbled upon focused on technique instead of trying to feed the reader TRP. And you know what? It was useless to me. Didn't get much action at all. Without TRP you don't understand the theory behind it all, and you don't internalize. Don't internalize and it's all just a thinly veiled act, and most women can see straight through it.

I agree on the nice guy point. I don't understand why anyone feels entitled to a partner who brings more to the table (looks, success, etc) than they do. It's ridiculous. But a lot of the men on this sub are likely unattractive yet expect attractive women to overlook their appearance. And then they whine about it when the girl isn't into them and say she's too entitled.
