there was a series of events between two schools, mine and a foreign one from russia. I have a thing for russian girls, so I instantly saw this as a chance to apply all trp principle i knew and flirt with every organism that looked like a russian girl. Now, I'm pretty divided on whether or not my approaches were right or wrong. On one hand, I felt like I was acting like the "cool kid" when I wasn't, which some girls called me out on; they also told me I have a big ego after I teased them. Moreover, my classmates all kept picking on me for the next two weeks for the cringe I did (introducing girls to my muscles and telling them to touch my biceps, making some cringe comments, etc..) and for simply approaching too many girls. I also had many girls from my school (not from the other one.. my school is a lot more conservative) calling me a creep for "not keeping personal distance between the girls and I and being too close to them", which was somewhat true, but no girl from the other school flinched away or told me i was too close. On the other hand, I feel like I had the most success with girls out of all my classmates. None of them, for instance, were walking with girls and hanging out with them most of the time, and only I danced with them and received very noticeable IoIs, making me feel that all the previous negative comments I mentioned (90% of which came from people in my school) were out of jealousy. However, I do admit that I was cringy.

With this aside, let's get into the main issue. the negative comments about my approaches I received from my classmates completely destroyed my confidence. I felt like I was going back to my beta self, and it even showed in my interactions (i'm no longer that confident, and I have severe approach anxiety. I even showed some signs of depression). Now, I need your advice. How do I regain back my confidence, and how do I modify my approach strategy to be less cringey in the future? this cringe fest mainly arouse from me closely following one of trp's advices, which says that u should tease girls and inflate ur image to them, and by acting like an asshole.
