I seem to forget.

This attitude is also seen from (believe it or not) my own parent, sister, and cousin.

Here's an example: You can clearly see the dude just fuming but the sister/mother/girlfriend/woman co-worker continues to talk over him without giving the dude a chance to explain where he is coming from. And whenever he does, he gets talked over or gets whatever he tries to explain thrown outta the window.

I've experienced it, I used to be super good at it but coming from a family friend or family member, you'd expect they'd try to understand.

No, I think they'd rather see you burst a blood vessel. Why is this the case? My friend's relative apparently died because of this (burst arterie resulting in a heart attack)

Is it even worth it to reason out? Hey (gf/friend/sister/mother) I personally think that it's a bit shady that the money you earn disappears rather quickly, I'm just concerned about this and I'm not tryin' to attack you (then goes: bla bla bla, I raise my voice, because of this and that, and this and something totally unrelated, and that) then they'll continue, you think they're adults but the most ridiculous thing is they point the finger at you for making them mad?? Even though you burst a blood vessel and almost fuckin died. Unbelievable.

What is the science behind this?

What's the work around to this?

I've been seeing this a lot from family members, this is ridiculously potent since things can be on a very personal level
