Alright dude here's my advice to you. Comes from a personal experience. Summer 2018, I got fat. It was because all I ate was pizza and played fortnite at midnight kinda like Thor in endgame. August hit and I realized that I was gonna start university, couldn't look like shit. Cut out all junk food and all soda. No exceptions. That stuff is cancer and should be illegal. The only liquid you should be drinking is water that's it. Eat 3 meals a day make sure it's 50% vegetables, 25% lean protein such as turkey, chicken or salmon, 25% complex carbs such as brown rice or quinoa. Breakfast should be something along the lines of eggs, oatmeal and fruit. To lose fat and not burn your lean mass, do fasted cardio. In the morning go for a short run bike or swim before breakfast. In the evening hit the gym and focus on compound lifts. The gym you should only be doing 3-4 times a week, cardio every day. I went from about 180 pounds down to 160 in 2 months, I was lean, had abs and everything. Lose weight the right way so you don't burn muscle mass, all you want to get rid of is fat.
